Santa's rules is made by parents for our own kids. We have gone to a lot of trouble to make this site as safe as possible. To safeguard kids, every word that is typed in to the system is checked for profanity or vulgar content by our automatic script. Every picture that is uploaded must be checked and approved manually by the site administrator before it appears in front of your child.

We do not show children's last names on the site, purposely to protect the identity of children. To register on the site we do not require you to enter a telephone number or street address because we believe this is unnecessary. We hate spam email and we have a privacy policy on the site, please refer to this for further information.

Santa's rules is free to join and use for everyone. Even e-mail's to your child from Santa are free. We were kids once and we believe in the joy of Christmas being free for all. In order to contribute something towards site maintenance you may see some minor sponsored links. We don't want the site to look spammy and flooded with advertising so if you appreciate Santa's rules and want it to survive, we would encourage you visit our Support page.

As part of our child privacy and security features, we do not allow automatic publishing of uploaded images. You will see a 'holding image' in place until a site administrator approves the uploaded image. Child security is very important to us and we are sure you agree that this is the most important aspect of the site.

Most profiles will turn up straight away, however, there are some words or expressions that will trigger our content filter. In this case, a site administrator will be notified to review the profile, once it meets with our acceptable use concerns, it will be approved straight away.
